From Today’s Ecclesiastes Reading:
Vanity of vanities, says Quheleth, vanity of vanities! All things are vanity!

Reflection:
Quheleth is a wake up call directing our attention away from the ephemeral towards what will last. Here is a mantra we repeat as a daily reminder to avoid greed and practice a simpler life, “I have all that I want, I have all that I need.” It’s a statement that can stir thanksgiving in our hearts as we offer today’s Eucharist.

So We Ask Ourselves:
Have I placed my trust in what is passing and will not sustain me in times of difficulty?
What reordering must I do in my priorities to put more balance in my life?

Vanidad de vanidades, dice Quheleth, ¡Vanidad de vanidades! Y todo es vanidad!

REFLEXION:
Quheleth es una llamada para que despertemos y dirijamos nuestra atención lejos de lo efímero hacia lo que sí durará. Aquí está una reflexión que podemos repetir como un recordatorio para abolir la codicia o avaricia y practicar una vida mas simple: “Yo tengo todo lo que quiero, yo tengo todo lo que necesito.” Está es una afirmación que remueve agradecimiento en nuestros corazones mientras ofrecemos la Eucaristía de hoy.

ASI QUE NOS PREGUNTAMOS:
¿He depositado yo mi confianza en lo que es pa sajero y que no me sostendrá en los momentos difíciles?
¿Que debo yo de re-ordenar en mis prioridades para poner más balance en mi vida?
